Alhamdulillahirrabil alamin.
Gratitude we bid to Allah because giving us
the chance to continue our study at
International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)
at Kuantan Pahang or famously known as UIA Kuantan.

On the registration day, 2nd September 2014, we arrived earlier in the morning because the registration starts at 8.00 a.m. . Basically majority of our friends that live far from Kuantan arrived one day earlier and stay at the nearby hotel.
We need to wear proper attire on that day or else we are not allowed to get inside the Office of The Campus Director(OCD). The process took approximately 30 minutes for brothers and for sisters about 1 hours since the ratio of female to male is 4 :1. Finally we get the Mahallah key and unpacking our stuff. The Ta'aruf Committee told us to not fully unpacking the stuff due to rumors saying that we will move outside the campus.
For your information, IIUM is different from others Universities in terms of naming certain signage for example "Mahallah" which stands for "Hostel" and "Kuliyyah" stands for "Faculty".
"The Glory of Islam Starts With You"That was the theme for this Ta'aruf Programme 2014/2015. Before the Ba'iah and Closing Ceremony, we just need to attend the briefing from the Administration staff, respective lecturer and Committee.
We were also practicing 'Student Oath' so that during the Ba'iah and Closing Ceremony we are not very nervous to face the Deputy Deans and Head of Departments. We slept over at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque for Qiamullail at 4:00 am for two consecutive day.
